Carrera artística
Ella rompió en el cine en 1915 y le sirvió de aprendizaje en comedias, westerns, y series. El melodrama "El hombre de los milagros" (1919), en la que co-protagonizó junto a Lon Chaney, la estableció como una de las damas reina de Hollywood, cargo que ocupó a lo largo de la década de 1920.
