Síntesis biográfica
Nació el 20 de septiembre de 1977 en Washington, Estados Unidos. Estudió en el Julio Verne y vivió parte de su juventud en Moscú, Rusia donde ingresó en la Escuela de Arte Teatral.
En esa época fue jugador profesional en la federación profesional europea de baseball. Cursó una maestría en la Universidad de Harvard para completar sus estudios de interpretación en el Teatro de Formación Avanzada.
Vida profesional
Ha trabajado en series como: La ley y el orden: Acción Criminal, Sin rastro, Dr. Vegas, Boston Legal, CSI: Miami, Ley y orden: Unidad de víctimas especiales, How I met your mother, y actuó en The Class, donde interpretó a Duncan Carmello entre 2006 y 2007, y en 2009 se lo pudo ver en el papel de Raymond Gardener en la serie de ABC.
Trabajó en películas como Tony N' Tina's Wedding, World Trade Center, The Air I Breathe, con Kevin Bacon y Julie Delpy, Bar Stara. En el 2009 interpretó Al Capone en la comedia Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, protagonizada por Ben Stiller y Amy Adams.
En el 2010 participó en los filmes The Pacific y The Ghost Writer papel y tuvo un pequeño papel en la comedia Noche loca, con Steve Carell y Tina Fey
