Fates Warning es un grupo de rock progresivo, que surge en Hartford, Connecticut, Estados Unidos en el año 1982.

Historia de la banda

Inicialmente grabaron un par de demos en 1983 con en la compilación Metal Massacre V de la compania Metal Blade Records en 1984. Cuando John Arch salió de la banda en 1987, los miembros quisieron cambiarle el nombre a la banda pero la compañía a la que pertenecían Whilst Metal Blade denegó el posible cambio de nombre.
