Sinopsis

Blue Dragon Awards es una ceremonia de premios que reconoce la excelencia en el cine de Corea del Sur. Fue creado en 1963 por el diario The Chosun Ilbo hasta 1973, donde se dejó de celebrar. Sports Chosun, un diario deportivo coreano, resucitó la ceremonia en 1990 y celebrándolo anualmente desde entonces.

Descripción

En estos premios sólo se consideran los éxitos de taquilla y las películas de un alto valor artístico estrenadas durante el año anterior. Durante el proceso de selección, alrededor de cuarenta películas llegan a la lista final y son proyectadas al público de forma gratuita. Tras la proyección de las películas, se abre la ceremonia de premiación.

Blue Dragon Awards y Grand Bell Awards son los dos premios de cine más populares de Corea.
