Futuro simple (Inglés). El futuro simple del inglés es un tiempo verbal que expresa acciones que ocurrirán en un tiempo futuro.

Estructura gramatical del futuro simple

El futuro simple en el inglés básicamente tiene dos vías de ser formado en una oración afirmativa.

• Sujeto+will+verbo en su forma simple+complementos.
• Sujeto +be+going to+verbo en su forma simple+complementos.

Ejemplos

You	will	work	next monday	Tú trabajarás el próximo lunes.

You	will	play	football in an hour	Ustedes jugarán futbol.
They	will	enjoy	the party tonight	Ellos disfrutarán la fiesta.

Sujeto	Verbo be	Going to	Verbo de acción	Complementos	Traducción
I	am	going to	sell	this phone.	Yo voy a vender este teléfono.
You	are	going to	work	harder tomorrow	Tú vas a trabajar más duro mañana.
Peter	is	going to	visit	his father tomorrow	Pedro va a visitar a su padre mañana.
We	are	going to	study	English for the test.	Nosotros vamos a estudiar inglés para la prueba.
You	are	going to	fight	against injustice.	Ustedes van a luchar contra la injusticia.
They	are	going to	practice	baseball for the competition.	Ellos van a practicar beisbol para la competencia.

Se usa el presente continuo también para expresar el futuro. En estas frases hay que especificar el momento del futuro donde se realizará la acción (next week/ tomorrow)

• I am having lunch with a friend tomorrow.
• I am visiting Paris next week.
• We are having a party this weekend

Expresiones de tiempo

Son palabras o frases que expresan en que momento ocurrirá la acción y que en una oración afirmativa como interrogativa es muy importante.

• Tomorrow (mañana)
• next Monday (el lunes que viene)
• Next week (la próxima semana)
• Next month (el próximo mes)
• Next year (el año que viene)
• In an hour or so (en una hora más o menos)

Sus formas negativas

1. Utilizando will debemos agregar not o won't.

• I will not play the piano tomorrow.
• I won't play the piano tomorrow.

1. Utilizando going to debemos agregar not o la contracción n't.

• She is not going to dance in the show.
• She isn't going to dance in the show.

Sus formas interrogativas

1. Will

Utilizado en las preguntas yes or no questions

• Will she go to the theater with you tomorrow?

Utilizado en las preguntas Wh questions

• What will you do to save the world?
