Pink Cream 69 comenzaron su carrera en el año 1987 con Andi Deris como cantante.

Historia de la banda

Después de ganar el festival de nuevos grupos de Metal Hammer en Ludwigsburg, firmaron con Sony Music y en 1989 editaron su álbum de debut Pink Cream 69, realizando una gira como teloneros de White Lion. En 1991 la banda giró por primera vez en Estados Unidos. Con One Size Fits All (1991), su segundo álbum, entraron en listas en Alemania, Suiza y Japón. Este nuevo trabajo lo presentaron por Europa y Japón en lo que fue su primera gira como cabezas de cartel. Lo siguiente fue una gira de tres meses con Europe por 14 países.

Su tercer álbum Games People Play (1993) fue seguido de otra gira alemana. En 1994 Andi Deris deja la banda para unirse a Helloween y es reemplazado por el cantante británico David Readman, con el que grabarían Change, su cuarto álbum, en Los Angeles, Estados Unidos junto al productor Shay Baby. Al año siguiente realizan otra gira con Thunderhead, para entonces David Readman ya está perfectamente integrado y aceptado por la prensa y el público.

Después de seis años dejan a Sony Music. Su quinto álbum Food For Thought (1997) vió la luz editado por High Gain Records, y en otoño apareció Live, su primer álbum en directo. Electrified (1998) era su álbum más fuerte hasta la fecha, pero con Sonic Dynamite parece que de nuevo se han superado.

Son una de las bandas europeas de hard rock mejores y más creativas. Con su álbum Electrified (1998) mostraba su progresión en competencia musical y madurez creativa, su reciente gira con Bruce Dickinson, los conciertos en Japón y Sudamérica y su brillante concierto en el Festival Bang Your Head! en Balingen (Alemania) dan fe de que la banda se encuentra en su mejor momento.
