Muchas chicas en la India y otros países sueñan con servir en el teatro y actuar en películas, rara vez los sueños y fantasías de los niños se hacen realidad. Sin embargo Criti Sanon hizo planes de vida completamente diferentes. A pesar del progreso social y el desarrollo de instituciones democráticas, ya no es tan fácil para las mujeres tener éxito en la profesión pública. Creció y se desarrolló como una niña ingeniosa y reaccionó con curiosidad a lo que sucedía a su alrededor.
