Honor Blackman nació el 12 de diciembre de 1925, en Londres (Inglaterra), hija de un funcionario estadístico.
Síntesis biográfica
Fue educada en la escuela femenina de Ealing y se formó como actriz en la Guildhall School of Music and Drama de Londres. Estuvo casada con Bill Sankey y Con Maurice Kaufmann, con quien adoptó dos hijos: Lottie y Barnaby. En los años 80 trabajó exclusivamente en televisión. Veinte años tardó Honor en volver al cine Honor, que es afín al Partido Liberal y partidaria de la República en su país, rechazó la medalla de la Orden del Imperio Británico en el año 2002.
Carrera actoral
Su carrera en el cine la comenzó a finales de los años 40 y alcanzó la popularidad internacional en la década de los 60. A fines de 2012, el equipo de producción del vídeo juego conmemorativo de los 50 años de James Bond: 007 Legends, volvió a usar la apariencia física de Honor Blackman para el personaje de Pussy Galore. Mientras que la voz del personaje la realizó Natasha Little.
En televisión
Una de sus primeras apariciones en la televisión fue en un papel recurrente como Nichole, secretaria y asistente de Dan Dailey, personaje de Tim Collier en la serie The Four Just Men (1959). En 1962 interpretó el papel de Catherine Gale en Los vengadores durante 43 episodios.
