Slaughter es un grupo de Glam rock formado en 1988 por Mark Slaughter voz, bajista Dana Strum, guitarrista Tim Kelly y el batería Blas Elias. Su estilo metal, sus canciones se basan en melodías pegajosas y Mark Slaughter se destaca por la impresionante gama vocal y su falsete algo nasal. El 5 de febrero de 1998, Kelly murió en un accidente de automóvil, su última grabación, un año más tarde apareció en Eternal Live. Sin embargo, la banda logró reagruparse sin él, la liberación de volver a la realidad en 1999 con nuevo guitarrista Jeff Blando.
