Bad English (agrupación musical)

Bad English. Es una banda de Hair Metal y Hard Rock estadounidense, formada en 1988 en Los Angeles, California. Realizaron 2 álbumes, Bad English de 1989 y Blacklash de 1991.
Historia musical de la banda
Formada por tres ex-miembros de la banda The Babys: Jonathan Cain, John Waite y Ricky Phillips (después en Styx) con el guitarrista de JourneyNeal Schon. Su primer trabajo Bad English (1989) supuso un rotundo éxito en la escena del rock de finales de los ochenta; especialmente con temas como "Best of What I Got" o "When I See You Smile", el cual llegó #1 del Hot 100 de la revista Billboard y "Price Of Love" llegando al #5.
Neal Schon, guitarrista y líder de la banda decidió poner fin al proyecto cuando su segundo trabajo, Backlass (1991), no obtuvo el éxito comercial esperado. Aún así ambos álbumes son dignos mención.
En Backlass destacaron temas como "Straight to Your Heart" o "Time Stood Still". Además se puede encontrar entre sus botlegs una colección llamada Lost Tapes (1989-1991) con rarezas del grupo. Tras finalizarse el proyecto Neal Schon (guitarra) y Jonathan Cain (Teclista) regresaron a Journey llevándose consigo a Deen Castronovo (Batería). Rick Philipps (Bajista) y John Waite (Vocalista) continuarían con sus respectivas carreras.
