Vida personal
Nació el 18 de julio en 1968 en la ciudad de Auckland en Nueva Zelanda. Desde pequeño fue a vivir a Australia. Se graduó en 1991 en la escuela National Institute of Dramatic Art NIDA en Australiana.
Estuvo casado con la actriz Roxane Wilson, tuvieron dos hijos Edie Bowler y Zeke Bowler.
Vida profesional
Debutó en 1994 en la serie Blue Heelers, ha trabajado en series como: Pacific Drive, Sangre fresca, Satisfaction, Betty, Entertainment Tonight, ABCSomething in the Air, Perdidos, Defiance. Ha actuado en filmes como: Atlas Shrugged, Pánico en Rock Island, killer elite, entre otros.
