Paul C. Doherty es un autor, educador, profesor e historiador inglés.
Síntesis biográfica
Paul Charles Dominic Doherty OBE (Order of the British Empire) nació el 21 de septiembre de 1946, en Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, Reino Unido.
Durante 3 años estuvo en un seminario católico en Durham pero finalmente no se ordenó. Estudió Historia en las universidades de Liverpool y Oxford donde obtuvo el doctorado con una tesis sobre Eduardo II e Isabel I. Trabajó como profesor de secundaria en varias ciudades de Inglaterra. Fue director del Trinity Catholic High School en Woodford Green, Essex durante 25 años. Actualmente es director de una de las más prestigiosas escuelas de Inglaterra, el Trinity Catholic High School en Londres y compagina su faceta de profesor con la de escritor. Es autor de aproximadamente 60 libros. En 1987 empezó a publicar series de novela histórica de misterio: la Edad Media, el Antiguo Egipto, Roma y Grecia. En total suman 12 series de novela histórica, 11 novelas y 7 libros de historia. Doherty vive actualmente con su mujer Carla, 6 hijos y 2 caballos en un pueblo entre Essex y Londres.
