Lorraine Toussaint. Actriz estadounidense, conocida por su interpretación de Rene Jackson, en la serie Any Day Now.
Síntesis biográfica
Desde niña, se mudó junto a su familia a Estados Unidos, donde comenzó con sus estudios. Debido a su pasión por las artes dramáticas estudió en la Manhattan School of the Performing Arts, graduandose en año 1978. Un año más tarde, comenzó a estudiar en la Juilliard Drama School.
Trayectoria
A participado en producciones como: "The Face of Rage", "Common Ground", "Trial: The Price of Passion", "A Time to Heal", "It Was Him or Us", "Si las paredes hablesen", "Fuera de control" y "Their Eyes Were Watching God". En el mundo cinemtográfico, trabajó en varias películas, como: "Un ladrón y medio", "El gran Halcón", "Bleeding Hearts", "Mentes peligrosas", "Black Dog" y "El cielo se desploma".
El terreno que más a tenido reconocimiento es el de las series, siendo parte de proyectos, como: "Where I Live", "Nasty Boys", "Dark Skies", "Leaving L.A.", "Cracker", "La juez Amy", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Urgencias", "Numb3rs", "The Closer", y sus grandes papeles en "Any Day Now", haciendo de Rene Jackson entre los años 1998 y 2002, "Crossing Jordan", encarnando a la Doctora Elaine Duchamps durante 12 episodios, y "Ley y orden", caracterizando a Shambala Green a lo largo de 7 capítulos. En la actualidad, es parte de "Saving Grace", interpretando el papel de Kate Perry.
