Portal de Voleibol |

 Voleibol. Conocido como el deporte de la malla alta, creado en Massachussets, Estados Unidos en 1895, es dirigido por la Federación Internacional de Voleibol (FIVB), se divide en voleibol de sala y playa, así como el voleibol sentado, el cual es una variante con creciente popularidad entre los deportes para discapacitados; el de sala se practica entre dos equipos de seis jugadores y el de playa por dos equipos y dos jugadores. Tienen características técnicas específicas, una de las características más peculiares del voleibol es que los jugadores deben rotar las posiciones a medida que van anotando puntos. El juego es controlado por dos árbitros, un cronometrador, un anotador y jueces de línea. En Cuba después del Béisbol es uno de los deportes que más se practica y gusta a la población. (leer más)
